An utter DOG of a woman if ever there was one. And that's without going into her well-documented opinion of mothers!

"Penetrate A Homophobe"

Sounds very much akin to condoning rape, doesn't it? A very sick mind was responsible for this IMO.

Does it make the author of this disgusting slogan a "heterophobe"?

I agree, but petty is Labour's rason d'etre. They try to modify and socially engineer New Zealand to reflect some sort of discredited political dogma. What about supporting hard working people who are successful, not just in monetary terms but in life. Why do we pander to those who, when given the oportunity to succeed and better themselves, refuse to take that opportunity, then blame everyone but themselves for it. They have a gay, lesbian, anti-religion (except is its not christian), agenda. Personally I think its because Helen is really gay, wont admit it because its politically difficult and her husband is a 'beard' to make her look straight. If they are so honest, come out! I don't care.

The petty people's party! Go on.. stop the hate mail... it will rub off on your children...I mean this site tries not to be petty, but like most of us when confonted with mad frothing of the mouth...seeing a rabid blog will always get us running back to the arms of our mother Helen. Okay you want it less metaphorical then when good commentary goes to an extreme it becomes violent and fascist and only ends up attracting similar types, and ocassionally passers by brave enough to point it out.

As far as I know, all they needed was one dissenting vote to stop it.

No Andy, it was a bill on the Government's agenda therefore ACT's dissenting vote could not stop it (that only happens on private members bills i believe, correct if I am wrong) .

Well, wouldn't you know it. National and Labour and the other smaller parties teamed up again and decided to pass the bill as soon as Rodney and Heather were out of the house grabbing a bite to eat. One dissenting vote could have stopped the process of the bill, but good old National made sure that that wouldn't happen - by fair means or foul.
